Gopegi, (Alava) //2017
The municipality proposes intervening on semi-permanent building modules located at the entrance of the town. They chose to work collaboratively with the townspeople to create an artistic interpretation of local culture, folklore, and the natural environment where the town is located.
Werckmeister worked with a group of townspeople to design and create a mural for all 3 sides of the building. Both local children and adults helped to paint the mural during 2 weeks of open-door painting workshops.
